Update Regarding Trevor Daley’s Condition

Major update on top Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Trevor Daley. As per many sources, he has undergone successful knee surgery (left) and is expected to miss six weeks. Daley was injured during the first period of Pittsburgh’s 3-1 win in Carolina on Tuesday night.

Daley’s condition must have forced Jim Rutherford to acquire the veteran defenseman Ron Hainsey earlier today. Trevor Daley played 54 games this year. He scored 5 goals and registered 14 assists for a total of 19 points.

The 33-year-old defenseman played for the Dallas Stars, Chicago Blackhawks and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
