Injury report update

Last night against the Montreal Canadiens, Kevan Miller blocked a shot and had to be helped to the dressing room. Head coach Claude Julien isn’t too concerned, saying that the team doesn’t believe it to being a serious injury.

After taking a shot to the knee in the first period, the defenseman didn’t return on the ice for the remainder of the game. Today, he wasn’t on the ice for the morning drills, and is expected to be medically evaluated. Julien spoke of Miller today, saying that “probably by [Thursday] we’ll have a better indication on that. We’re hoping it’s minor and we’re just being extremely cautious.”

Miller is on a day to day status for the time being. More news to come as this story develops.
