Injury Update: Babcock gives some update regarding Marner.

Two days after Mitch Marner injured himself after crashing into the boards, the Toronto Maple Leafs promising rookie forward  wasn’t on the ice with the team for practice Friday morning. Mike Babcock addressed the Marner situation in front of the press before they even had time to ask any questions.

After practice Maple Leafs coach Mike Babcock said Marner is “day-to-day” but didn’t rule him out of Saturday’s game yet. Some sources say Marner is suffering from a shoulder injury.

He has 15 goals and 33 assists through 55 games this season for Toronto and leads the team in scoring.
