We have exclusive information claiming that this isn’t exactly the case.

According to a close friend of Burrows, it is actually an ankle injury and it’s not as bad as it has been made out to be. Burrows was walking on it just fine yesterday, and has said himself that he thinks he will be ready to lace up for tonight’s game.

The 36-year-old has been a great trade-deadline acquisition for Ottawa, notching 6 goals and 11 points in 20 regular season games. He’s added 5 assists in 15 playoff games, all while still maintaining the pesky presence which has made him infamous throughout his career.

The Senators have a chance to take a commanding lead in their series against the heavily favored Penguins. The Senators lead the series 2-1 with Game 4 being played in Ottawa tonight. The Penguins will be desperately looking for answers after the 5-1 blowout that was Game 3.
