Injury Update: Josi back on the ice

Sidelined for Tuesday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers, Nashville Predators captain Roman Josi looks to be on the road to recovery. While Josi hasn’t officially been labelled with an injury, he did sit against the Flyers and remains a game time decision for tonight’s contest against the Dallas Stars.

There is some hope for Preds fans though as NHL.com’s Nashville correspondent Robby Stanley has reported that Josi skated with the team this morning at Bridgestone Arena. 

This has to be seen as positive news for Preds fans. As good as the team’s defensive corps is, the loss of Josi and Ryan Ellis is felt throughout the lineup with players like rookie Samuel Girard and veteran Alexei Emelin expected to pick up the extra minutes.
