A veteran National Hockey League reporter has made a bold prediction narrowing a rumored trade down to four destinations.

As many fans will know by now, future Hall-of-Fame forward Jarome Iginla has been the subject of heavy trade speculation, and at this point it seems like it's just a matter of time before he winds up on another NHL team.

Eric Duhatschek of the Globe & Mail believes that Ignila is most likely to end up either Calgary, Edmonton, Los Angeles or Chicago and points to old connections that Igninla has with several of these organizations.

At the top of Duhatschek's list are the Oilers, who not only boast general manager Peter Chiarelli, a man who once brought in Iginla for a playoff run in Boston, but also his linemate during that tenure, forward Milan Lucic

The ties to Los Angeles are obvious, a former head coach who once took Igninla to the Stalney Cup Final in Darryl Sutter. They failed to make a push for the championship together in 2004, and they could look to do so again.

Duhatschek also wasn't prepared to rule out a return to Calgary where Igninla made his name and grew into the face of that franchise. Young Johnnu Gaudreau could certainly use a gritty veteran at his side to create some space on the ice, and it would be a fitting way to end his career.

As for the Blackhawks, they are merely a team who always look to add a veteran near the deadline for the postseason, and there has been much speculation about their interest in Iginla over recent weeks.
