The relationship between the Montreal Canadiens and forward Alex Galchenyuk has been on the rocks...  The 23-year-old has found himself at the center of many trade speculations recently, one even hinting at a deal with the Colorado Avalanche for Matt Duchene

Though NHL insider Darren Dreger hasn't heard anything substantial about this report, he is certain that Galchenyuk will remain on the trading block with his attitude.

"There's always a Galchenyuk's trade rumor," Dreger said on TSN Montreal 690. "He is a frustrating player because he hasn't developed as quickly as [GM Marc Bergevin and Habs management] were hoping. Obviously, they taught he could become a top-line center. It appears the organization still doesn't trust him in that capacity, he is stuck on the wing."

Dreger had a clear message for the young player, if ever he wants his name off the market.

"If he doesn't appreciate his role, we're always going to be looking for change and he has to understand that the grass isn't always greener. There's always going to be interest, the calls are going to come in, but there is a huge opportunity for the kid to silence the rumors."

Clearly Galchenyuk, the puck ball is in your court.
