Insider: Steven Stamkos open to waiving his no trade clause.

Sportsnet insider Chris Johnston believes that Tampa Bay Lightning star Steven Stamkos may have just revealed his willingness to waive his no trade prior to the NHL deadline.

Johnston joined Jeff Marek to discuss comments made by the Lightning captain earlier in the day where he was asked that very question and in Johnston's words "didn't deny it."

Johnson also touched on Winnipeg Jets' captain Andrew Ladd's contract situation and the possibility of the Jets re-signing him prior to the deadline, as well as the future of soon to be unrestricted free agent Loui Eriksson as a member of the Boston Bruins.
