The New York Islanders traveled to Calgary as they are facing the Western team tonight. The team therefore had to make arrangements for the players to be able to stay the night after the contest, however, they were stunned to find out that they couldn't check into their rooms.

Once the Islanders got to their hotel, general manager Lou Lamoriello was informed that Flames forward James Neal was on site because he was doing an autograph signing session at the same hotel.

Lamoreillo wasn't happy about that and told his players to board back on the bus. He then asked for the players to be lodged elsewhere, so some poor people on the staff had to find a room for more than 30 people at the last minute in Calgary.

Players had to wait to check in in a new hotel, and we are pretty sure it ruined some of their pregame rituals. A bus isn't the most comfortable place to take a pregame nap..

But we all know Lou, he never takes the easy road...

And it seems to be affected the poor Islanders players: so far, the Flames are leading 2-0 in Calgary...
