If you're an National Hockey League franchise in need of a defenseman the New York Islanders have a very good one available, but it's going to cost you big time.

While it's impossible to truly know what exactly NHL general managers are truly asking for when they put a player on the trading block, thanks to insiders we sometimes get a hint at those demands.

TSN insider Bob McKenzie is reporting that the Islanders are asking a staggering price, no less than two first round draft picks, in order to give up defenseman Travis Hamonic.

Hamonic had demanded a trade in the past, but that situation eventually died down and it appeared that the Islanders and Hamonic where in it together for the long haul. However the Islanders clearly don't feel the same way, and are now trying to get a maximum possible return for trading him away.
