FINALLY!

The trade everybody was waiting to happen finally happened! 

Matt Duchene was traded to the Ottawa Senators in a blockbuster deal, involving three teams and forward Kyle Turris.

Samuel Girard, Vladislav Kamenev, Shane Bowers, Andrew Hammond, 2nd round pick from NAS, 1st round pick from OTT, 3rd round pick from OTT

Kyle Turris signed a six-year contract extension with the Predators.

Duchene, drafted third overall by the Avalanche in 2009. In 586 games played in the NHL, he registered 428 points. 

Turris, drafted third overall by the Arizona Coyotes in 2007, was traded to Ottawa in 2011. In 544 games played in the NHL, he registered 320 points.
