Jack Eichel snaps and attacks Eriksson Ek!

The Sabres have been tested and are trying to prove that despite a strong start in October, things won’t turn into what they did last year when Buffalo failed to make the postseason and ended up going on losing streak after a satisfying first month of action. 

Amongst all of this, the Sabres know they are fortunate to have captain Jack Eichel. 

However, the young forward has some emotions and they sorta got out of hand on Tuesday night as the Minnesota Wild were leading 3-0 over his Sabres. The captain finally snapped and got in a rare fight when he dropped the gloves to take a few jabs at Joel Eriksson Ek. 

It was clear that Eichel was trying to get his team going by engaging into the fight. However, we can’t really say what pushed him over the edge. Eriksson Ek pumped him a couple of times behind the net and that seemed to be enough for Eichel to snap and engage in the fight.

Some fans are even wondering Eichel will get a call from the NHL’s Player Safety for his actions. 

However, it was easy to tell that the Sabres fans were loving it and hoping it would get the team going.

In the end, the Wild ended up going home with a 4-1 win… Not even of a spark, Jack.
