The Winnipeg Jets will be without one of their forward for what looks like quite a while.
Jets head coach Paul Maurice announced Friday forward Anthony Peluso would miss three-to-four weeks best case scenario with an upper-body injury.
The 26-year-old left Thursday's loss to the Carolina Hurricanes after just 1:22 of ice time.
The team should also have a better idea of the extent of forward Nikolaj Ehlers' apparent upper-body injury Saturday. The rookie took a puck off of his visor which instantly broke from the blow.
Ehlers has recorded 31 points in 63 games this season.
There should be an update on his status after further evaluation.
