Jets rookie Laine leads team to historic five goal comeback.

There has never been a Winnipeg Jets team that has made it back from a 4-0 deficit, not even the first Jets team that was eventually moved south of the border, but none of those teams had rookie sensation Patrik Laine.

The Toronto Maple Leafs flat out dominated the Winnipeg Jets early in their match up on Wednesday night, but the Jets would not go quietly into the night, and would eventually score five unanswered goals, including a hat trick from rookie Patrik Laine, to take the win 5-4 in overtime.

Laine would also get his overtime winner after another rookie superstar, Toronto's Auston Matthews, failed to capitalize on a breakaway leading to the puck going back the other way just seconds later, and Laine made no mistake for his third goal of the night.
