Jets sign Tanev coming off his career best season.

The Winnipeg Jets have rewarded forward Brandon Tanev with a new contract.

Coming off by far the best season of his professional career, Tanev and the Jets have agreed to terms on a one year deal, the Jets also confirmed that this would be a one-way contract for Tanev. 

Prior to this most recent season Tanev had just 3 National Hockey League games under his belt, but now is coming off a 51 game season that saw him record two goals and two assists for four total points.

This will be the first one-way deal of his NHL career, one that will earn him $700,000, and  that has to be a great feeling for the undrafted 25-year-old.
