Justin Williams, Mr. Game 7, beats the Capitals in double overtime!

The Washington Capitals will NOT repeat as Stanley Cup champions.

The Capitals were defeated 4-3 in double overtime of Game 7 this evening by The Bunch of Jer... err... the Carolina Hurricanes.

And who was the man who put the nail in the coffin of Washington's back-to-back chances? Mr. Game 7 Justin Williams, himself.

Well... technically it turns out that Brock McGinn tipped it in, but as it happened in real time everyone was convinced that Williams had done his thing AGAIN in Game 7. As it turns out, he pucks up a measly assist to push his Game 7 career totals to 15 points, an all-time NHL record. Incredible.
