Kadri has special message for buddy Bozak after he beat the Bruins

It’s gotta feel good for the Leafs forward, right?

Fans who dislike the Boston Bruins got two gifts in one night on Wednesday night as the St. Louis Blues won the Stanley Cup after a Game 7 victory, which made Brad Marchand cry his eyes out.

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nazem Kadri took the time to share a special message to his former teammate Tyler Bozak, who signed with the Blues last summer, feeling it would be the perfect move to become a Stanley Cup champion.

As you know there is no love lost between the Bruins and Kadri. The Leafs forward was suspended for the remainder of the first round against Boston after delivering a dangerous cross-check to the head of Bruins forward Jake DeBrusk during Game 2.

It ended being his last contest of the postseason as the Leafs were eliminated by the Bruins in a Game 7 showdown.

Therefore, we can imagine how happy Kadri was to see his buddy Bozak be on the winning side of a Game 7 to become a Stanley Cup champion.

Here is what he had to say to Bozak, which he posted on Twitter:
