BOSTON - Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, October 20, that the team has signed forward Karson Kuhlman to a two-year contract with an annual NHL cap hit of $725,000. The contract is a two-way deal for the 2020-21 season and a one-way deal for the 2021-22 season.  
Kuhlman, 25, skated in 25 games with Boston in 2019-20, tallying one goal and five assists for six points with a plus-three rating. 
In 2018-19, Kuhlman saw his first NHL game action with the Bruins, notching three goals and two assists for five points with a plus-five rating in 11 regular season appearances. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound forward also posted 12 goals and 18 assists for 30 points with a plus-23 rating in 58 AHL games with Providence in 2018-19. 
Kuhlman has played in 13 postseason games with Boston over the last two years, recording one goal and two assists for three points. 
The Esko, Minnesota native was originally signed by the Bruins as a free agent on April 10, 2018.
