Kessel absolutely loses it when Hornqvist misses a wide open net

In case you missed it, the Pittsburgh Penguins got past the Washington Capitals 5-3 last night, but it wasn’t the final score on everyone’s minds after the game.

With a chance to put his team up 6-3 late in the third period, Penguins forward Patric Hornqvist corralled the puck at center ice and attempted to pot an empty net goal… except somehow Hornqvist managed to skip the puck down the ice, bounce it off the crossbar and out of play.

The entire Penguins bench lost it and teammate Phil Kessel just about injured himself laughing.
