To say that Boston Bruins defenseman Kevan Miller was seriously injured all postseason seems like an understatement.

On Friday, Miller revealed that he suffered a long list of injuries, with one nagging ailment he is still dealing with.

The veteran blue liner suffered a fractured knee cap that required surgery at the end of the regular season. He did not suit up after his April 4 contest against the Minnesota Wild.

Miller was looking to be back during the playoffs, but re-aggravated his knee injury and was ruled out until the end of the calendar. Overall this week, Miller suffered a broken hand, fractured larynx, pulled oblique, two fractured kneecaps.

He is hoping to be back fully healthy for the start of the 2019-20 season.

As for the rest of the Bruins crew, we have to say they weren’t spare either. While it is no excuse for losing the Stanley Cup final, Boston was quite beat up. Captain Zdeno Chara had indeed suffered a broken jaw, which needed to be fixed by several plates and wiring. He was mostly on a complete liquid diet for the remainder of the series. His jaw was broken in two places, on the left and right sides on his face, the latter one was fractured into two parts. He is expected to be in recovery for five to six weeks.

Jake DeBrusk was also said to be dealing with a nagging injury he sustained during Round 1 agains the Toronto Maple Leafs. Many fear he might have played on with a concussion.

Patrice Bergeron will not require surgery for his groin injury, however teammate blue liner John Moore will go under the knife for a shoulder injury.

Noel Acciari dealt with a broken sternum he suffered during the Round 2 against the Columbus Blue Jackets. He has also been walking around with a bracing on his right foot after blocking a shot in Game 7 against the Blues.

Brad Marchand revealed that he played through injuries throughout the entire postseason. He mentioned he had groin and abdominal issues and aggravated a sprain wrist in the scrimmage game before the start of the Stanley Cup final.

Here is your quick recap:

Let’s hope they all get better soon.
