Before the start of the first round series against the Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy informed the fanbase that defenseman Kevan Miller would miss the first round of the playoffs due to a lower-body injury.

While fans in Bean Town have been patient, it seems like they will need more patience if the Bruins managed to beat the Maple Leafs and move on into the postseason.

As reported by team insider Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic, Miller was seen after the team's morning skate on Friday sporting a brace and a bandage on his right knee. According to the insider, Miller won't be back for some time it seems...

This is the second straight year that the Bruins have lost a key defenseman during the postseason. Unfortunately this time with Miller, it will be much longer than first anticipated.
