KHL team slaughters a live sheep at center ice in gruesome traditional ceremony!

This is by far the most unusual piece of writing we have done in awhile. It was revealed that a team from the Kontinental Hockey League, Barys Astana slaughtered a live sheep at centre ice prior to practice on Tuesday in a traditional Kazakh ritual in an attempt to end their five-game losing streak.

It gets worse...

They then sprinkled it's blood all over the ice and nets to end the gruesome ritual.

KHL news. Barys Astana, for whatever reason, decided to have a traditional Kazakh ritual before a practice. It involves slaughtering a sheep. Right on the ice. The blood was sprinkled over the goal to make it magic or something. @sportexpress reports, foreign players got sick
