Kings decision to call up a goalie indicates Quick will miss time.
Quick will miss time.

It appears that Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick will miss time.
The Kings starter was injured earlier this week during a match up against the Boston Bruins, and following that injury Quick was listed as day to day with a lower-body injury. But the Kings decision to make an emergency recall, bringing up Peter Budaj would indicate that Quick will be sidelined as a result of the injury.
The Kings have not provided a timetable for Quick's return, but Budaj should be a serviceable option for the Kings, he has had a very solid season in the AHL. From the Kings official announcement:
The 33-year-old Budaj (born Sep. 18, 1982) is a 6-1, 192-pound native of Banska Bystrica, Slovakia who has appeared in 38 games this season with Ontario. At the time of his recall, he led the league in goals-against average (1.58), save percentage (.935), wins (26), shutouts (8), minutes (2,284:25), and ranked fourth in saves (862).
Nonetheless the sooner Quick returns to the line up the better.
