Kings make well rounded pick with Turcotte!

The Los Angeles Kings went up to the podium with the fifth overall pick and selected Alex Turcotte with their selection. 

Arguably the most well-rounded forward available in the draft, the American forward is expected to make an impact at both ends of the ice for years to come. The 18 year old plays a solid two-way game, but make no mistake… he has no problem filling the net.

“Across-the-board talent with a smart and efficient style, says Dobber Prospects’ Cam Robinson in describing Turcotte’s skill. “Great offensive instincts, quick acceleration and already the most complete two-way player in the crop. A constant battler, with underrated puck skills.”

Turcotte put up an incredible 27 goals and 62 points in 37 games with the USNTDP despite NOT playing alongside top prospect Jack Hughes at even strength.
