The Los Angeles Kings have announced that they’ve re-signed forward T.J. Hensick to a one year, AHL contract.

The 31-year-old forward scored 16 goals and 52 points in 67 games to lead the Kings’ AHL affiliate Ontario Reign last season. Hensick will play his 11th pro season in 2017-18 and is looking to build on his 523 career AHL points. He’s the definition of an AHL lifer and great example of the “tweeter” player who has excelled at the AHL level, but struggled at the NHL level when given opportunity.
