Vincent Lecavalier is really starting to make a name for himself with the Kings.

Tonight he got his first goal not on the power play and boy was it ever important, He scored the tying goal with only 12.2 seconds left to go in the game. After getting many chances, Drew Doughty passed the puck down to Dustin Brown who was in the right corner. With time running out, Brown sent the puck in front and after it deflected off Tanner Pearson, it got lost in Sharks goaltender Martin Jones' pads and Lecavalier jammed the puck home.

Coach Sutter's confidence in Lecavalier has been going up and he has had confidence to put him out there in important situations. Tonight he proved the coach right and continues to show that if you give him a chance, he can cash in.

Keep it up Vinny!
