The rivalry has been intense between the Vegas Golden Knights and the San Jose Sharks in this first round series of the postseason.

And lucky for us, it’s going all the way to a do or die Game 7 tonight as one team will head to the second round to face the Colorado Avalanche. However, players are doing everything they can to get under each others’ skin and it seems like the head coaches have followed suit.

Prior to tonight’ matchup, Vegas bench boss Gerard Gallant was asked about the comments from Pete DeBoer, the head coach of the Sharks, who criticized him for chirping at his players during the games.

Gallant could not believe and fired a shot back at DeBoer:

"For that clown to say that in the paper yesterday, that's not right."

The Golden Knights head coach went on to explain what happened when a penalty was called on his forward Jonathan Marchessault, who was sent to the box during Game 5 for high-sticking Logan Couture. While Couture lost a couple of teeth on the play, Gallant thought he embellished his reaction.

He added that he also commented on the ongoing feud between Ryan Reaves and Evander Kane, who have been at each other’s throat since the start of the series. Kane even went on to call Reaves after the two players engaged in a fight.

We should have quite a Game 7 tonight to see. We surely wonder how the handshake will go down between these guys once the final buzzer is heard and one team moves on to the second round.

What is the best insult: Muffin man or clown?
