Kris Letang shaken up after being hit along the boards.

The Pittsburgh Penguins got a bit of a scare on Friday night.

The often injured Kris Letang was shaken up when he was hit along the boards by Tampa Bay Lightning forward Ryan Callahan. While Letang did stay on the ice after being hurt, he was clearly favoring his right hand, and upon watching the replay it did appear that the hand had taken the brunt of the hit.

The situation became dire when Letang did not return to start the third period, but thankfully he would eventually make his return after being looked at by the Penguins trainers.
