Laine feels ashamed of Jets' humiliating loss

Patrik Laine did not hold back after the Winnipeg Jets' humiliating loss of 7-2 by the hands of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Wednesday night. 

"This was just embarrassing. I'm ashamed," Laine said after a blowout loss, according to Finnish reporter Sami Hoffren. 

The young star forward did record an assist of teammate Mark Scheifele's third period goal. Laine managed to shoot twice towards the net. Though he spent a lot of time of the ice during the man advantage, the Jets failed to convert on all eight of their power-play chances in the game...

The Leafs were able to score on two of their four opportunities with the man advantage.
