Las Vegas releases surprising odds for tonight's crucial NHL games.

The odds for tonight's critical Stanley Cup Playoff have been released and they are very interesting indeed.

Despite the history between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Washington Capitals, the Las Vegas odds makers clearly believe that the Capitals have been playing better in this series, and as a result have made them a heavy -180 favorite for their Game 7 match up according to NBC Sports.

Las Vegas does not have much faith in the Penguins pulling it out tonight despite the fact that Marc-Andre Fleury has come up big for the Penguins in this series. Then again the Capitals do have Mr Game 7 on their team in Justin Williams, who is 7-0 lifetime and has 7 goals and 7 assists in Game 7 situations. 

The second game of the night however is much closer in the eyes of the odds makers. Despite the fact that the Anaheim Ducks have a great deal more experience than the Edmonton Oilers, Las Vegas has made them only slight favorites at -120. 

Of course odds makers are not capable of predicting the future, but this does give you a good idea of who they expect to move on to the Conference Finals.
