Last minute scratch seems to signal a trade is coming.

We have another last minute health scratch, and frankly it was one we expected as mentioned in our earlier report.

The Edmonton Oilers have made forward Teddy Prucell a last minute healthy scratch, something that TSN reporter James Mirtle predicted would happen this evening. Now according to Mirtle a trade is imminent, and the team most often mentioned when Purcell's name came up were the Los Angeles Kings, who the Oilers just happen to be playing at the Staples Center this evening.

No word yet on if this is the only piece of the puzzle that will be moving, Oilers defenseman Justin Schultz was also absent from the warm ups this evening, and he has been speculated in trade rumors as well.

We will of course continue to monitor this situation.
