Leafs’ Babcock gets emotional in discussing the return of Brian Boyle

Brian Boyle makes his return to the Air Canada Centre tonight as his New Jersey Devils take on the Toronto Maple Leafs. It’s the first time that Boyle has faced his old team since signing with the Devils on July 1st, but it’s also the first time since his leukaemia diagnosis in in September.

Leafs head coach Mike Babcock made a touching admission this morning when asked about Boyle from reporters:
