If you haven’t been watching tonight’s game between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Toronto Maple Leafs, well you’re missing an absolute clinic put on by the Bolts.

The Lightning have dominated the lopsided game between the two Eastern Conference contenders, so much so that with the Lightning up 5-1 after just two periods, the Leafs were booed off home ice to end the frame.

Ouch… that hurts.

To be fair, the Lightning are having a historically good season and the Leafs are just coming off a tough Western road-trip, but… still 5-1 after two isn’t going to cut it. Certainly not for a team that sees themselves as legitimate Stanley Cup contenders.

The goods news, or bad news depending on your perspective, is that there’s still some game left to play… things could get better or worse. Stay tuned.
