Leafs forward may have a chip on his shoulder as he faces team that traded him.

Toronto Maple Leafs veteran forward Brian Boyle sounds like he may have a little leftover anger from the trade that sent him from the Tampa Bay Lightning to the the Leafs, and no one is about to judge him for it.

Boyle made some very interesting comments prior to facing his former team on Wednesday when he spoke to Lightning insider Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times.

"Obviously they got rid of me, too, they traded me," said Boyle. "I guess they didn't need me that much."

It certainly sounds like Boyle is heading into this game with somewhat of a chip on his shoulder, and even during a scrum with reporters in the locker room he admitted that any former friendships would be put on pause Thursday evening.
