One of Toronto's young draft picks is getting a big opportunity to showcase his skills at the World Junior Championship.

Reporter Ryan Kennedy of The Hockey News is claming that Joseph Woll has been named the starting goaltender for the United States of America when they face off against Slovakia.

Woll was Toronto's third round draft choice (62nd overall) in the 2016 National Hockey League Entry Draft and has previous international experience with Team USA's under-17 and under-18 teams. He spent this season playing for Boston College where he appeared in 17 games, recording a .917 save percentage and a 2.51 goals against average.
