Toronto Maple Leafs’ Ondrej Kase got away and all the way down to San Jose Sharks goalie Adin Hill on a breakaway. And he scored to tie the game up 2-2 in the second period.
While he would have loved to celebrate his first goal of the season and with the Leafs, Kase couldn’t as he hurried to apologize to the referee Wes McCauley, who was brutally ran over by the forward after he scored the goal.

Can you imagine if Kase had ran into one of his teammates like this? While I don’t encourage for referees to get injured on plays, this one is pretty funny and McCauley himself was caught laughing at the incident seconds after!
