Leafs make emergency recall as Moore suffers setback ahead of tonight’s game!

It sounds like Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe had spoken too soon. 

After it was believed that Trevor Moore would return to the Leafs’ lineup for Tuesday night’s game against the Buffalo Sabres, it was just announced by Keefe that Moore will not be in uniform tonight. 

Per Keefe, Moore bumped in practice yesterday and informed team this afternoon after media initially spoke with Keefe that he wasn’t feeling right. Consequently, the Leafs recalled Adam Brooks from the Marlies on an emergency basis. 

As reported by TSN’s Kristen Shilton who spoke with the bench boss,  Moore was put through concussion protocol and there is no concern for him in that respect. The Leafs have decided to hold him out here for precautionary reasons.
