Leafs sign QMJHL scoring sensation Abramov

The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced that they've signed prospect Mikhail Abramov to a three-year entry level contract.

The 18 year old Abramov has an incredible 35 goals and 76 points in 63 games for the QMJHL's Victoriaville Tigres this season. He was drafted originally in the fourth round (115th overall) in 2019.

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has signed forward Mikhail Abramov to a three-year entry level contract.
Abramov, 18, has skated in 63 games with the Victoriaville Tigres (QMJHL) this season, recording 76 points (35 goals, 41 assists), which leads the team and ranks fifth among U19 skaters in the QMJHL. In 125 career QMJHL games, the Moscow native has recorded 51 goals and 79 assists. He was named to the QMJHL All-Rookie Team in 2018-19. 
Internationally, Abramov represented Russia at the 2018 Hlinka Gretzky Cup and recorded a goal and six assists in five games at the tournament, capturing a bronze medal. He also had a goal and two assists at the 2018 World Junior A Challenge. 
Abramov was originally selected by the Maple Leafs in the fourth round (115th overall) of the 2019 NHL Draft.
