When the Kings went out and traded for Vincent Lecavalier, it was a huge relief for Lecavalier who was drowning in Philly. Now Vinny will want to thank the Kings for the chance they have given him.

Lecavalier still has some left in the tank. He was in a really bad situation in Philadelphia and will definitely want to show everyone that he is not finished and can be a factor on a great team like the Kings. He has been playing on the second power play unit and had already had a few assists. Today against the Ottawa Senators, he picked up his first goal on the power play. It was a bit of a broken play with Christian Ehrhoff kind losing the puck then spinning around and sending the puck in front of the net where Lecavalier stretched to get a stick on it and put it past Craig Anderson.

He is a Stanley Cup winner and knows what is needed from him and has found a good role in Los Angeles. Keep it up Vinny!
