Tough break for the Lightning. No pun intended. Sounds like Andrei Vasilevsky fractured his left foot and will be out for awhile.

Ouch… that is a tough break.

The 24 year old net minder has been outstanding for the Bolts again this season, putting up nine wins in 13 starts, while sporting an impressive .927 save percentage.

It’s expected that Lightning backup Louis Domingue will shoulder most of the load while Vasilevsky recovers and in the meantime  Eddie Pasquale from the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch to help fill the void.
