Luongo calls out Maple Leafs after watching Matthews, Marner in The Nutcracker

When the Florida Panthers take to the ice tonight to play the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Arena in downtown Toronto, Panthers net minder Roberto Luongo is hoping that Leafs snipers Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner aren’t in the lineup.

In case you missed it, both Matthews and Marner took to the stage last night for their theatre debut, donning colourful costumes in their cameo role as Cannon Dolls for the National Ballet of Canada’s production of The Nutcracker in Toronto.

After watching the performance, Luongo called out the Leafs’ Twitter account and made an appeal to have Marner and Matthews sit out tonight’s game… you know considering how hard they worked last night.
