Major Hockey Announcement On Tuesday

The Ottawa Senators have called a press conference for Tuesday in order to make what the organization is referring to as a "major hockey announcement". 

Certain players, along with team owner Eugene Melnyk, general manager Pierre Dorion, as well as advisor and former GM Bryan Murray are expected to be in attendance.

NBC Sports speculates that the announcement could revolve around two possible scenarios:

The first could be regarding an outdoor game on Parliament Hill in 2017 whereas the second might refer to the team acquiring land in order to build a new arena.

The presser is set to take place in the afternoon.
