MAJOR injury could put pressure on the Penguins come game 1.

It’s time for the Pittsburgh Penguins to face the Ottawa Senators in the Eastern Conference final.

Defenseman Trevor Daley played big parts in the Penguins Stanley Cup championship last season, so suffice it to say that some eyebrows were raised when he missed practice this morning.

The news comes as the Penguins fans who have already had to endure through injuries to the team’s top defenseman Kris Letang and starting star player Sidney Crosby. Letang has been ruled out for a playoff return. With these critical pieces missing from their lineup, the Penguins will need to rely on solid depth players if they’re going to make a second consecutive Stanley cup run.

Coach Sullivan announced that Trevor Daley is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
