Major scandal in Montreal may explain one players poor play.

Someone who covers the Montreal Canadiens very closely has discovered a major scandal that could explain the extremely poor play this season from veteran defenseman Andrei Markov. There have been rumors of personal problems in Markov's life, and Markov himself revealed that he and his long time girlfriend, Carolina Montes, have split when he posted an intimate picture of himself with another woman on his Instagram.

Now you might be asking, if Markov left his girlfriend for another woman why would he be upset? Well according to Carolina's Instagram she was the one who "threw out the trash" after Markov revealed that not only had he slept with a groupie, but he had gotten her pregnant. That groupie just so happens to be the new woman in the picture Markov posted.

If Markov was in fact dumped by the woman he loves, or loved, because of his cheating ways, it certainly would explain all of the rumors surrounding problems in his personal life. Not to mention the way Carolina told the world, with a picture of her and her new man, was probably a tough pill for Markob to swallow.
