Major update on McDavid from Oilers practice this morning

Connor McDavid skated at practice this morning!

The injured superstar took to the ice with his teammates to test things out and reportedly suffered no ill-effects.

That’s GOT to be good news, right?

Want some even better news? Oilers GM Ken Holland confirmed today that McDavid will travel with his team for their upcoming road trip against the Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks and Vegas Golden Knights, this courtesy of NHL insider John Shannon.

Of course, McDavid won’t play in any of those games, but this HAS to be seen as positive news. Here’s hoping Connor is back in the lineup sooner rather than later.

McDavid just took four hard strides on a passing drill and ripped a one timer. Showed no signs of favouring his knee.
Then a quick enter zone, curl at hashmarks and find trailer he went full speed and did his usual turn on a dime. Leg looks good.
