Major update on Penguins injured rookie sensation Bryan Rust.

At least for now, it appears the Pittsburgh Penguins have dodged a bullet.

All of the focus today was on the status of injured forward Bryan Rust who has been a playoff hero for the Penguins, and Rust did not disappoint, participating in the morning skate and speaking to the media after the fact. 

Despite skating this morning, Rust's status is still up in the air, and Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan stated that they were still treating him as day to day with his injury.

"Bryan skated this morning. He will be a game-time decision."

We expect that Rust will play this evening, but with no official confirmation we can make that proclamation just yet.
