Maple Leafs assault their own mannequin during practice!

The Toronto Maple Leafs are focused on the last stretch of the regular calendar in order to get ready for the postseason, which means practices are getting more and more intense on the ice. 

While this won't surprise any Leafs fans, someone should have informed their poor practice mannequin...

At the start of the session, the Leafs placed the mannequin in shooting lanes so players are forced to shoot around them. The mannequin was also placed in front of the goalies to impair their vision.

However on Friday, the mannequin was pushed hard on the ice and the Maple Leafs didn't stop there. Some Leafs players decided to rough up the dummy by shooting pucks at it in particular and slashing it without mercy. 

The Leafs might have been a very good mood seeing that head coach Mike Babcock announced that defenseman Jake Gardiner is to play in last two regular season games. The coach wants his blue liner to get ready for playoffs and would like him to get some action in the last stretch before the start of the postseason.
