Maple Leafs' rookie on the verge of HUGE milestone.

The Toronto Maple Leafs couldn't ask more from their talented class of rookies.

Of the top fifteen rookie scorers in the NHL, six are sporting the blue and white. In fact, the Leafs' rookies are only a single point away from establishing themselves as the beast rookie class in club history.

With just under 30 games remaining on the season, the Leafs are set to smash the current record.

The infusion of youth has propelled them to 206 rookie points through 53 games by committee, with Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner, with 44 and 46 points, respectively.

The Leafs' rookie point leaders continue with William Nylander (36), with Nikita Zaitsev, Connor Brown, and Zach Hyman all attributing 23 points or more. Nikita Soshnikov and Frederik Gauthier have chipped in with a combined 10 points.

Quite the accomplishment for a group of players in their very first season together.
