The Marc Andre Fleury baby watch is over!

It has been one of the most riveting stories for fans of the Las Vegas Golden Knights over the past few weeks and has drawn the attention of many fans around the league as well thanks in large part to just how universally beloved a player Marc Andre Fleury has become during his National Hockey League career. The story of course has centered around the upcoming birth of Fleury's child, a baby that he is expecting with his wife Veronique Fleury, and one that has caused quite a stir around the Las Vegas Golden Knights games as of late.

Fleury, as is to be totally expected, has been extremely excited about the upcoming birth of his child and as a result there were a few instances in which the Golden Knights were forced to take extra measures in order to facilitate a potential absence on the part of Fleury should his wife go into labor. Well Fleury, the Golden Knights, and all the fans and interested parties watching this story from afar need to wait no longer because the new baby has finally arrived.

According to an Instagram post from Veronique herself the beautiful couple has welcomed newborn baby James Fleury into the world and he is one of the most gorgeous little babies that you are ever going to see. Not only is baby James absolutely stunning but his mom dressed him in just about the cutest little wrap you could imagine with the message "I'm here" written across it in different fonts. It seems like he's probably going to be a big boy too as based on Veronique's caption for the picture he is a big baby boy.

"He's here the new love of our lives, baby James Fleury, born at 39 weeks on March 22nd 9.3 lbs & 21 inches of pure love," wrote Veronique on her Instagram account.

According to a report from David Schoen of the Las Vegas Review Journal, Las Vegas Golden Knights head coach Gerard Gallant is hopeful that Fleury will be able to rejoin the team for their road trip to St. Louis when they will take on the Blues on Sunday. However barring that the expectation is that Fleury will join the team on their upcoming road trip at some point.
