Something is wrong with the Bruins forward…

The Perfection Line in Boston just now be called the Injured Line it seems. After losing Patrice Bergeron to injury, he who missed today’s game as well against the New York Rangers, the Bruins lost Brad Marchand in the third period of that contest…

At the end of the second period, Marchand was hit to the head by Rangers defenseman Jacob Trouba’s elbow. You can tell Marchand was quite shaken up by the hit as he headed back to the team’s bench.

We don’t know what happened during the second intermission, but Marchand came back only to be forced out of the game. He might have been pulled from the game by a concussion spotter. The Bruins forward broke his stick in anger as he headed down the tunnel and left the game.

Fortunately for the Bruins, Marchand was back on the ice in the middle of the third period. However, if he had to undergo concussion protocol, we don’t know what this could mean for Marchand in the coming days.

Boston will keep their fingers crossed.
